TYPO3-Organiser: How to manage news from several subfolders (subbranches)

Hi we have the following strukture 1. MAIN Organiser News Page P1 1.1 MAIN Organiser Storage for News S1 2. Sub Branch 2 2.2 SUB Organiser News Page P2 2.2.1 MAIN Organiser Storage for News S2 2. Sub Branch 3 2.2 SUB Organiser News Page P3 2.2.1 MAIN Organiser Storage for News S3 When we put the Storage Folder S2 below S1 the news from S1 shows up in P1. No matter where on which level you put the newsfolder insde the Main Organiser Storage Foder If you move S3 to S2 also S3 and S2 News will show up in P2 But here is the problem: This is only working when MOVING the storage pages. As a result there is no news showing up under P2 when you move its storage folder to be beside or as sub of S1. --- Each Branch is writing their own news and each MAIN Group is writing their news. Now it should be possible that in Main all News created in the sub branches will be shown while only the news of the subbranch will show up on their specific sub branch news Page i.e. P2 or P3. Also it should be possible to have specific categories written in MAIN showing up in the subbranches to. Any ideas welcome. Andi |

Hi Andi, I suppose you mean tt_news. Of course you know the possibility to use categories. So what's the problem? May be the way you use (or don't use) the global storage folder? @ddoesburg: No Daniel I don;t use tt_news as we want actually replace tt_news with the Organiser News! It is a problem from the display in the frontend. Richt now every subbranch manages their own Organiser Data. i.e. News There is also a Main and a Grouped (by Countries) view we now would like to show now all gatherd News only from those branches under a certain country but also ALL News on the Main View. When somebody clicks on those entries they should get directed to the News Pages of the Creators OR stay on the page of i.e. the country. Nice would be if they would get directed to the Creators news Page but the Ajax Reload Version without the redirect to the original Single View Page would work too. Andi Andi |
